EXAMPLE: A client had been desperately trying to get a face to face with a hand full of big time buyers to no avail. Knowing that six of the ten targeted buyers would be attending a trade show in which our client would be exhibiting, we hatched a plan. Prior to the show we mailed embossed leather folders to those buyers that would be attending the show. Inside the folders; a hand written invitation, pad of paper and in the slot made for a pen, only the cap of a very nice Monte Blanc pen. The invitation informed the buyer that the other half of the pen would be waiting in booth 1352 at the November Comdex show. All six buyers stopped by the booth with smiling faces.
